First Continental Convention on Global Sustainable Bioenergy

First Continental Convention on Global Sustainable Bioenergy

Datum: 24 feb 2010 tot 26 feb 2010
Tijd: 13:00 tot 16:00 uur
Locatie:Delft

It is our pleasure to invite you to the European Convention of the Global Sustainable Bioenergy Project which will be hosted by the Kluyver Centre for Genomics of Industrial Fermentation and held in Delft, The Netherlands. This is the first of a series of 5 continental conventions aiming to provide guidance on the feasibility of sustainable bioenergy production on a large scale as well as implementation paths and policies that foster this outcome.

What

Directly after Copenhagen, leading experts will reflect on the Copenhagen agreements and present the global and continental issues and discuss the options for sustainability and global challenges for the introduction of bioenergy. Participants are asked to provide their input on a global and European Resolution and on feasibility studies to test the hypothesis that it is physically possible to gracefully reconcile very large-scale bioenergy production with competing land demands.

Who

All those who are interested and willing to help to realise a sustainable future.

We really hope that you will contribute to this ambitious project and that we may welcome you in Delft!
